"Ha ha ha.... Dave lad, I wish you could stay here with us. What a sight it would be to see, Harry pulled down by a peg every time he tries to pull some stunt." King Charles laughed and patted Dave's back and sat down the dining table.
"Everyone please take your seats. We are all family here." Charles gestured towards the dining table.
Everyone sat down and variety of food were served and everyone started to eat. After taking a couple of bites, both Alan and Chris stood up.
"Stop eating. The food is poisoned." Alan shouted and then dashed towards the kitchen Harry following close behind him.
When they entered the kitchen, they saw a dozen bodies. "They were killed atleast an hour ago." Harry bent down, examined the bodies and announced. After thoroughly checking everything, they came back to the dinning hall.
A couple of servers, who had served them the food were standing still on a side with unfocused gaze.
The 6 young men made a protective circle around the remaining family members.
"All the kitchen staffs are killed." Alan said looking at the King.
"What about these two? They haven't moved an inch since you both went in." The King asked Alan.
"Think carefully and tel me, how much and what did each of you ate? Chris make a note please." After saying that, Alan went towards the two servents and examined them carefully.
"They are under an influence of some kind of mind control magic. We will examin them later."
Within a few minutes, Alan received a list from Chris. Your Majesty please inform someone to alert everyone inside the castle and forbid them to eat anything. If they had eaten something let them come here immediately or if they are still having their dinner let them come here with their plate. We will examine them ourself.
The King called a couple of guards and instructed as Alan said.
First he went through the list, then he checked the dishes, everyone's plates, cups, spoons, knifes, then the water, the wine, juice, the fruits and everything else on the table.
Chris helped him in determining the minute details, sometimes the other four also provided some inputs.
The King and the queen were astounded by the knowledge these young men posses. Alan and Chris both had an eye on everyone there to know if there are any changes in them due to poisoning. After almost 15 minutes Alan and Chris looked relieved.
By that time, the soldiers returned back and bowed to the king. "Your Majesty, all your personal guards, the Palace guards and commanders had their dinner a few minutes back in the solders mess. We had brought everyone here. They are waiting outside. And here is the food served to them. We had collected the food samples from the containers." The guards showed a plate in each of their hands.
"Excellent, give it to me. And instruct everyone no matter what, they should not sleep. We will be there in 15 minutes." Alan instructed the guards, who bowed and went outside to relay Alan's instructions.
"So ... " Harry asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The thing is, it's a kind of slow poison that spreads rapidly when you sleep and kills your brain. You will be alive but you will never wake up from your sleep. Luckily, we have antidote for this poison your Majesty." Chris informed while Alan tested the food brought by the soldiers.
"Poisoned, but this is a different kind. It will start spreading within an hour and if not treated, everyone will die within a couple of hours."
"Your majesty, we have to treat them first. It's already been more than half an hour."
King noded in agreement. "Go ahead lad, We will be waiting here. No one will sleep till you come back and give us the antidote."
Ben, Bob and Dave here, mix the ingredients as per this and keep the medicine boiling for an hour. Alan scribbled a few lines and handed it to Ben. "Rene, Lilly, Rose watch and learn."
"Wil, Chris, come with me. We have a lot of things to do." Alan with the other two dashed out of the room and saw more than a hundred guards, commanders and servents standing there looking fearful.
"Everyone, the food served today had been poisoned, but, no need to panic or worry, we have the antidote for it. Form three lines stand with a gap of a meter from each other. Make sure, the ones who had their meal first should be in the front."
The guards immediately started to move and within a minute they formed three straight lines as Alan instructed.
Meanwhile Alan, Williams and Chris started to prepare a concoction. Chris took out a small furnace from his storage ring and lit it. Then the concoction was kept to boil.
"If anyone gets a nosebleed come forward immediately." Alan shouted while stirring the content inside the container.
Within 20 minutes Chris Announced that the concoction was ready. Williams then took it down and started to add a few vails of green coloured and a couple of clear liquid into the container and stirred it well, meanwhile Alan started to spread his aura and observe the condition of the guards and the servents present there.
Two soldiers and a few servents came forward looking pale and panicked, their nose starting to bleed.
