"What do you mean by that?"
Zack chuckled before spitting out blood and kept laughing.
"I guess mommy didn't tell you, huh, how interesting."
"What the fuck do you mean!" Silas said bending down to Zack's level and pulling Zack by his shirt closer to him.
Zack didn't say anything and started laughing with blood in his teeth. What Silas didn't know was that Zack was distracting him so Liam, who had cuts on his face and part of his body, could hit him on the head with a baseball bat.
"Are you okay?" Liam asked, stretching out his hand.
"Yeah, I can manage," Zack replied with a voice-like whisper.
They both looked down at Silas who was unconscious.
"How long do you think he would be unconscious?"
"I don't know."
"What, how hard did you hit him?"
"Pretty hard."
"Then we have less than five minutes until he takes up."
"That fast?"
He's an Alpha, remember? If he wasn't, he'll wake up in twenty minutes" Zack said walking away and Liam following behind.
"Wait for me!"
"Keep up," Zack said and climbed into a Blue Toyota car, scanning the moving heads, searching for someone. "Where's Lexy?"
"I don't know, I lost her on my way to you. I think she was pulled back by Lolla. What was her name again?" Liam said, scratching his head, trying to remember.
"I see her. Liam, be a darling and bring that little brat here. She's close to the left side of the woods" Zack said, jumping down from the car and kicking the guy who was about to hit Liam.
Zack turned to look at Liam, "Go! She needs help." he said and punished another guy.

"Die!" Lolla said strangling Lexy.
Lexy tried pushing Lolla off her but was too tired. She used her hand to search for something she could use to hit her and found a stick. She hit the stick on Lolla's head causing her to fall and Lexy gasped for air.
She stood up with the stick, looked at the stick in her hand, and looked at Lolla who was struggling to move away from Lexy, holding her head in pain and staring at her with fear in her eyes.
"Get away from me," Lolla said, throwing whatever her hand could touch at Lexy.
Lexy was about to hit the stick on Lolla but was distracted by someone who took the hit instead of Lolla.
Lolla used the opportunity to pack sand from the ground and threw it to Lexy, meaning to throw it in her eyes but Lexy blocked it with her hand.
Lolla tried taking the stick from Lexy but Lexy's hold on it was firm.
"Let go bitch!" Struggling to take the stick from her.
Lexy kicked her in the tummy and hit her on the back with it until the stick broke.
Lexy was about to stab her with the stick but was stopped by Liam.
"Let go! She deserves to die."
"And then what! What will happen after you kill her, will you find peace, it can't bring back the dead or make you happy, Lexy."
let go of the stick and Lolla ran away. Liam hugged her and she cried.
After a few minutes, she stopped and thanked him.
"Sure, Zack is looking for you, he told me to come fetch you."
"Is he serious, do I look like a kid?" Lexy asked, kicking a guy in his stomach.
"He's your brother and he cares about you. Besides, that's his job if he doesn't want to." Liam replied to her, clawing two people in the stomach at the same time and kicking the third in the face.
"Oh please, don't flatter me."She said with an eye roll. " The both of you should get married, you'd make a perfect couple."
"Wait, you think so?"
"Yep."
"No, wait I mean, why…why did you say that?"
"Oh please, don't get me started on how you look at him while he's not looking your way and how he does at you when you're not looking."
"Wait what?"
"Eyes forward," Lexy said after slashing the rival pack member's neck.
"What are you two yabbying about?" Zack asked, staring at both Lexy and Liam suspiciously.
"Nothing." They both said in unison.
"Well then, eyes on the people we are fighting and not to yourselves…"
"What's that found and smell?"Liam asked sniffing the air.
"Is…is that gasoline and smoke?" Lexy said and they all turned towards the pack and saw half of the buildings in the pack on fire.
They immediately rushed towards where the smoke was coming from. On getting there they saw some of the members of the pack running out of some of the buildings covered in black smoke and coughing.
"How the hell did this happen!?" Liam asked, running towards one of the burning buildings.
Zack went with him. Lexy was about to follow when she saw Lolla throwing a gallon used to put gasoline into the fire with an evil smile and Silas beside her before running away.
"Fuck, I should have killed her there and then."
She followed them and saw them retreating with their members who weren't dead yet.
"Oh, I wish we had a bomb."
"We do, I have two on me right now."
Lexy turned to see a pack member holding out two bombs to her. She looked at her with an evil smile and took one from her hand.
"Perfect timing. You throw one and I throw the other."
They both ran after the cars and after getting close enough, they unhooked the bomb and threw it at them. Luckily for them, both of the bombs hit the same car and it blew up.
"Nice." They said and high five.
"Lexy, we need your help!" Zack called her through the pack's mind link.
"On shit, they need our help," Lexy said and they ran towards the burning buildings.

Silas pov

"What the fuck was that?" I asked no one in particular, and turned back to see one of my pack cards blow up and behind it, I could barely see who threw the bomb but I saw who it was.
"Lexy?"
"What, do you see someone?" Lolla asked, trying to see who it was.
"Isn't it that bitch you called Lexy and who's that bitch beside her?"
"Fuck, that bitch is crazy, she almost killed me. If not for the guy who stopped her, she would have killed me."
I looked at Lolla and wondered who Lexy was for Lolla to be scared of her.
"She must have really frightened you, for you to be shaking like this."
"What do you mean by I'm frightened, I'm not scared by that little brat."
"You know, you don't have to act all vital in front of me right, I'm yours and you're mine," I said, giving her a side-eye.
"Yeah, thanks, baby."
I hummed and looked out of the window thinking about what Zack said about my dad not dying accidentally and mom knowing something.

After successfully putting out the burning buildings, saving some of the pack members, and treating those whom the Wolfsbean affected, Zack, Lexy, Liam, and June the pack member who threw the bomb with Lexy are all seated in the pack house kitchen.
"We've been sitting here for the past thirty minutes and no one has said a word," Lexy said, looking at everyone.
"Hum, what do you want to say? That fact that we almost died a day after Harley, our Alph left with Marietta to look for witches who no one has heard or seen for years and don't know when they are coming back." Liam replied to Lexy.
"Dude, it's obvious it was his mom who did or said some shit to him," Zack said, going toward the fridge and taking out a bottle of beer. "I'm sure he's going to have a conversation with her when he gets back," Zack said with a smirk.
"What did you tell him?"
"Oh, just if his dad's death was accidental or not and if his mom told him the truth or not. Well, I didn't say that last part directly. So relax Lex, I don't say much."
"And yet, they call me the snitch," Lex said, shaking her head and making herself comfortable in her chair.
"I am not a snitch."
"Only a snitch would say they're not one," Lexy replied and they all laughed except Zack who was pouting his lips forward.
"I'm hungry, what do you think Harley would say when he sees the pack like this?" June asked, looking at Zack.
"I honestly do know, I would have said he would want revenge, but I don't know if that's what he would do or what he would say," Zack said and looked at Lexy.
"Why are you staring at me?"
"What, can't I stare at my little sister anymore?"
"Yes. It's weird."
Zack glared at her and gave her a side-eye while the rest laughed.
