 The Blood Angel… a chapter forged with more curses than blessings… a bloody chapter, who kindred suffer for the sins of their gene-seed… a father who was second only to his majesty... A man whose wings damned him as a mutant, but whose love for his son, made him a demigod worth dying for…

So much so that even in death… Dante was given back to us! For through his hands… we are forged anew… but the years have taken their toll…. Our captain Dante… is tired… and even after giving everything that could be asked… the mental toll is strenuous… with a deep mask, he hides his face... His sorrow…. And his wish for death!

Waking up in the first train cart, in blood and rust, Mary looked up to see the lower half of her rattling friend, but before sadness and grief, duty came first! Picking up her gun, she looked around the other dead, knowing who they 'were' in life, Mary scuffed at what was the imperium finest!

Servants of her emperor, who she believed had turned traitor, but now wasn't the time to be pessimistic. And so, Mary took a peek out of the roof's hatch, to suddenly feel the pull of the wind, while a blinding white light momentarily took her sight! Falling back down, and a head ringing in pain, with blurry vision, sudden alerts rang with their red lights flickering! As warning messages flood the monitor screens!

Reading it, she began to panic and as she got to work, for ahead of the train were the locked doors of the water bridge of Absodon! Beautiful and gorgeous, towering miles above the waters, suspended walkways and lights… but the dead… also lay on every inch of rails! Dripping corpse, of both tyranid and man…

Of mutants, and traitors… hanged by the cliff arches… there stood a green man… and by flail in hand… waited… seeing both dangers approaching, Mary had to make a choice… and so, rushing to the turret seat, Mary fired!

Above the train, the demoness stared at the white light that blistered her skin and annoyed her eyes, but with a scuff, and fueled by the truth she just learned, she griped her sword till it drew her palms blood! With a roar, she put one foot forward to end the white light! But in mid-swing, as her sweet-scented sweat dripped off her arms, the rattling she had forgotten suddenly, rose to bite her leg!

[curse you! Nurgle!!!!]

Screamed the demoness as she swiped Mc Griffen away with the sword! Tearing his head from his neck! But while his head flew, Mc Griffen's zombie eyes, laid onto Layla's beautiful light one last time as he was consumed to dust! As he died, the demoness again looked at Layla and screamed:

[daughter of the Black king! Prove to me your resolve! I need to see it!]

And with her outburst came the firing of the train turret! Blowing up the bridge gates as Bourgidus jumped off the cliff, while the angels in pursuit fired their plasma rounds and bolters through the mutant plants! But failed to make the jump in time!

[Bourgidus!] screamed Akios, but it was too late!

With a mighty roar of his own, Bourgidus slammed his flail against the demoness shield! With a bang, Bourgidus yelled:

[out of the way! whore! The allfather demands this one for himself! Know your place!]

As Bourgidus flail spews its vile poison through its gas chambers, the demoness refutes his remarks with joyful laughter as she screams:

[your 'father' and his accursed garden have already fallen! Bourgidus! oh! Champion of Nurgel. You know his head will be displayed in mortal hands… destiny cannot be changed by him…So why bother competing for a winner's prize!]

With added pressure, Bourgidus noticed his flail wasn't moving, that his diseases changed nothing… and that with a simple flick of the shield, pushed him back! With feet scraping the fragile metal roof, Bourgidus faced the demoness, as the remnants of the gate door slammed his back! But not feeling so much of an itch, did Bourgidus feel anything other than hatred for what the whore in front of him spewed with her mouth!

[SHUT YOUR MOUTH! You filthy daughter of a man whore! The allfather, has given us everything! Life after death…and more importantly POWER!] screamed Bourgidus as he twisted his grip on his flail and charged again!

But the weak slamming of his flail bord the demoness, and with curses to his weakness below her breath, and knowing her lustful charm had no effect, she used her sword to snap his chains! And like ceramic, they shattered as the ball chamber fell into the fresh waters below! While it fell, the demoness turned her slender waist in a beautiful motion, which saw her long serpent sword enter the depth of Bourgidus's bowels—even killing his hidden Nurgeling! As it dangled on the other end of her sword, it dissolved as it died with a smile, while the chemicals and magics stored within fell!

And while Bourgidus's blood poured and coated the demoness's hands, she took no sadistic joy in it! As she knew the servants of Nurgle couldn't feel pain… and before Bourgidus could strike with a punch of any kind, the demoness twisted and pulled her blade upwards! Tearing out bugs and flesh and metal from Bourgidus!

As Bourgidus fell to his knees, the demoness looked at him and said with a seductive voice and smile:

[you just sit there and watch… as I take what your 'father' wanted so badly…]

As Bourgidus opened his mouth to reply, the demoness, quickly thrust-ed her shield into his mouth and tore away his lower jaw! As blood squirted and shock evident in his eyes, the demoness took revie in her reply:

[as much as I like being called a 'whore' I find it distasteful coming from a creature such as yourself!]

With eyes that spoke volumes, Bourgidus laughed inwardly as he saw the light fade! With it gone, the demoness felt the cool of the night again across her skin, with a body turn she saw Layla, still as a normal girl… but with a sword glowing with charmed words and a black and white halo, where the heat radiated a red and orange-pinkish aura! While behind her in the warp tear, stood an aspect of her soul!

Terrified… lustful…and filled with sadism… the demoness drooled from both her 'mouths', as her eyes sweated what they were seeing! The image in the warp that shows what Layla could be… her potential…

[YES! Show it to me! Daughter of the dark one! Which is it? My shield or your sword!] screamed the demoness, with slender movements and snake tongue, while a wound on her ankle went ignored with black pus!

But Bourgidus didn't like being ignored, and took this chance to rise, but a foolish move… for the demoness didn't even blink as she spun and removed what was left of his head! But of course, Bourgidus wasn't without his games! For upon death, his body stirred… his final gift before returning to his father…

But it wasn't a bomb like the demoness had thought, and didn't even bother to turn around to check, no… what was kept inside Bourgidus… was a colony of tiny rot flies! And much like a swarm they flew into the hills and to the city of Absodon! Carrying with them their father's gifts and the mothers…

Ignoring the buzzing of the flies, the demoness positioned her shield in front of her, while she walked just within Layla's striking range, then with a taunting smile she asked:

[daughter… what does your sword say? I'm quite curious to see what a worthy father has left you… ]

Staring at a blazing sword, with a language that Layla somehow understood, she closed her eyes and asked the demon:

{do you know what admonition means?}

[do you presume to mock me?]

{sigh, it means to warn…}

[oh? So are you warning me then?] replied the demoness as she jerked the blood off her sword.

{No… the warning isn't meant for you…. But for me…}

[??? for you?]

{"Fear denies faith"...}

[huh? And what is that supposed to me?] replied the demoness with a light chuckle

Looking at the demoness as she laughed, Layla took this time to make a light smile of her own, as she replied:

{It means, that the moment I feel fear... is when I truly lose… }

[ha… is that so?]

{yes, but it also states that "I'm the embodiment of your fear"!}

To make truth in that sentence, Layla released a huge spike of psychic energy! Powerful and intimidating, but to a power charge hero of Slaanesh, it was but a slight quiver to her skin, but that was enough to make the demoness grind her teeth!

And with their grind, came an exhaust of lustful steam! And with a height that towered over Layla's small frame, the demoness charged ahead with her shield, while yelling through the rain and the thunder:

[I fear no mortal but Slaanesh!]

Seeing the beautiful demon about to shield bash her, Layla swiped her sword in one fluid motion… not a thrust or a jap.. Not a downward strike or an upper one… no… what Layla wanted was to completely humiliate the so-called shield of Slaanesh!

But as her sword cut deep into the shield, it hit a dead end at the center, right where the symbol of the snake head watched her from another side! With its cunning, the shadow of the snake whispered sweet lies into Layla's ears…

[oh… sweet child… why not let me take you… the pleasures I can offer you are beyond what you could imagine! For example... You think this servant of mine is so beautiful… now, now, don't try to hide it... I can even sense your lust from this side! well if you join me… I will grace you with her… or if she's not enough to fill your appetite… I do have many more courtesan that are better! And if that's not enough…]

Hearing the snake's words tailed on but not really paying attention, Layla watched the demoness as if time was frozen, and while slight hesitation and lust were present, but like a slow poison, Layla resisted the urges and then turned to the snake…. And not so much as a word, sent out a burning blue bobble of flame, that burned and coiled the snake, releasing time!

With time flowing again, the demoness took one step back to angle herself just right, but the festering wound on the leg that went unnoticed flared up suddenly! Consuming and rotting her flesh! But concerned with the sword embedding into her shield, the demoness still didn't sense anything wrong, even as she brought her sword down for a strike!

But for all her power, her perfection, the momentum of the strike would never land! As Layla did a roar of her own, as she flared her power through the sword, while Miss A wrapped her black tentacles around the vestige of the snake!

A battle appears in the warp in flashes, as a snake, an angel, an octopus, and finally a demon all collide as one! Of course, Mary and Molly were watching everything from the safety of the roof hatches!

As an outburst of white light consumed the world again, as Layla's sword burned and purified the shield at the snake's head! Severing it through and into the slender waist of the demoness! Feeling the cut and the burn, the demoness laughed as she screamed:

[it's my win!]

A short-lived confidence, as the Vistage of Slaanesh herself clouded her vision and her mind! Sending terror down the demons back!

[no... I…] jittered the demoness as she took a step back! With a face riddled with fear!

But when she did, the rot at her foot ate away at her bones! Snapping them like old, crumbled sand! Falling forward and lacking concentration, she felt the burning blade of admonition tear through her waist in one clean motion!

With shock evident in her eyes, she heard the voice of her masters, master!

[sigh, you failed me... Daughter of Fulgrim! And by oath, you shall be punished! To crawl for an eternity through both the mortal and immortal worlds like Masque before you!]

[wait! But master! I can…]

[SILENCE! Young Q'tlahs'itsu'aksho! And be glad to my mercy, that if you ever want to walk my floors again… you will see to it, through the completion of the six circles!]

[wait!!!!! waiiit!]

The demoness continued to scream, as her soul was pulled into the warp! While the remaining mystics' energy fled to their new host…

As the warp energies collapsed and closed, Layla fell to the floor as her halo weakened, and the strength in her arms felt sapped. While the rain and thunder disappeared like it never was… And with her ears still ringing with the demon's pleas, confusion racked her brain as Miss A chimed in:

[try not to think too hard on it… and just rest…]

(but that light… what was it?)

[hush now... Child… all will be explained when you awake.] replied Miss A with a questioning smile.

Agreeing but unable to move, Layla closed her eyes, as the sun shone on the walls of Absodon! And while Miss A chuckled at the demon's womb she had stolen! Bloody and fresh, Miss A stared at the heart encased in a white beam and began to scheme.
