Peter Brown didn't take a conspicuous seat, nor did he ask the auction firm to arrange a special spot for him; he just squeezed in among the crowd to watch. He wanted to see for himself what kind of price his Divine Artifacts could fetch.
Based on what he knew about the last time he sold Divine Artifacts, he felt that a price of just over 100 million for each piece would be quite satisfactory.
The auction was hosted by a middle-aged beauty. Not only was she attractive, but she also had a good handle over the entire auction process. Often, she could quickly elevate the atmosphere and had a good grasp of the rhythm.
The items auctioned earlier were all good, but it was obvious that no one was really competing for them.
Peter glanced over them and didn't find those items particularly interesting.
Soon it was time for Peter's items, and to his surprise, the offensive Divine Artifact, the Soaring Sky Spear, was the first to be put up for bidding.
