When we got home I couldn't help but reminisce about james to Annie.
He looks like he just walked out of a romance novel, i said and Annie just rolled her eyes.
When you're done day dreaming meet me in the kitchen, she said and left.
Just then my phone rang I heard a soft silky voice. Hello, Ivory?
Hi!!, I said loudly not able to contain my joy.
I know this is a bit too fast, but how about we go a date? It's fine if you don't want to, he said.
No I'm cool with it, i quickly said. Okay then, how about this weekend?
Sounds good, I'll send you my address, i said and hung up.
As soon as the call ended, i ran to the kitchen.
Annie!! You won't believe who just called me!
Calm down, who's it? She asked. It's James!! My new catch!! We're going on a date this weekend!!
For real?! She asked excitedly. Congrats babes, she said and hugged me.

Few days later…..
Finally it was weekend. I woke up a bit earlier to do all house chores. I did the dishes and the laundry and made breakfast. Annie was suprised to see me energetic than usual.
Ivory, what's going on today? You're in a good mood compared to usual, she pointed out.
Well, cause today, I'm going on a date with James!! I said happily.
I rounded the housework and went to take a bath. Then I proceeded to prepare for the date. I did my hair and makeup and when i was done, it was 4pm already.
James called and I anxiously picked up. You ready? He asked. Yes I am, i replied.
I'll come pick you up in ten minutes, he said. Okay, I said and quickly went to wear my clothes.
I wore a blue dress with a long slit on the side and let my hair flow freely down my shoulder.
Just as I was taking some photos in front of my mirror I heard a car honk outside. Annie, I'm leaving okay? Okay, bye!She replied from the bathroom.
I quickly strode out of the house and saw James coming out of his car.
Gosh! he looked so hot in his outfit I could feel my heart pounding. He opened the car door for me and I couldn't stop blushing as I stepped in.
He took me to an exquisite restaurant and we had a great time
So, tell me more about yourself Ivory, he said.
Uhm, my name is Ivory Gilbert and I'm a student at Oxford university and I'm 24 years old and I'm an orphan.
And you?
My name is James Huxley. I'm a business tycoon. I own the grocery store near your university and three more. And, I'm 26 years old.
That's awesome, I said as I stared into his deep blue eyes.
My phone rang, interrupting us and I picked it up annoyed.
Hello Ivy? Hey, Annie, i replied. It's getting late, why aren't you back at home?
I'll be back soon, calm down, i said and she hung up.
I think our sweet moment will be cut short, James said. I'll take you home, he offered and I reluctantly agreed.
