Peter Gingery from the guard team almost spat out a drink of water when he saw Jane Sampson's comment.
It was a stab to the heart, no less.
Half a year ago, he had followed James Black on a wilderness training and had returned as dark as coal. Jane, not daring to mock James who was also tanned to a certain degree, focused her teasing entirely on Peter.
The last time Jane visited, she even brought a whitening mask for him, beautifully-named as a means to "whiten up a bit so we can find you in the dark."
The comment was obviously exaggerated, but it truly irritated Peter, who immediately threw the mask in the trash can and took a photo to show off in Moments, tagging Jane Sampson to flaunt his move.
But after taking the photo, Peter picked up the mask and gave it to Liam Woody, feeling that no one in the guard team needed that whitening mask more than Liam did.
