Norris Moore stood on the balcony, watching Trenton Smith's car gradually disappear from view. She lightly inhaled the cold night air and then looked down, quietly chuckling to herself.
Such days were what ordinary people refer to as, tranquil happiness, I suppose.
A happiness she had never experienced before.
Perhaps she really was a selfish person, willing to go against the moral standards of the entire world for this happiness.
She went inside to take a bath and then leaned back on the sofa, picking up the script to read.

Trenton Smith hadn't reached the ward before he heard hysterical screams emanating from behind the firmly closed ward door.
His eyebrows lifted slightly, and he pushed the door open to enter, only to see Angela Banks sitting in a wheelchair, bellowing; several female nurses were struggling to calm her, to no avail.
Upon seeing him arrive, one of the nurses hurried over and whispered to him, "Mr. Smith, Miss Banks is looking for you."
