… and Brianna did. It's unfortunate that when she understood those words, it was a little too late to do anything about it.
Brianna gulped and shrunk back again, but there wasn't much room to manoeuvre in such a small room.
"I can see that you really had a good time last night. That's good. Now-"
"Who are you!" Brianna snapped this time. Her mind was a mess, and Brianna was trying as hard as she could not let them see; she was trembling. It was funny how Brianna thought that she had any semblance of a control to snap at someone who had a hold over her.
As the time wore on, her inner thoughts on Ian became clearer. She remembered what had ensued the night before, but it was all like a dream from far away. What she had experienced was not humanly possible, and Brianna could only conclude that she had dreamt of it. But then, why would she dream about something as terrible as being thrown off a cliff? By Ian? That was absurd!
