The trip from Voumi to Inko was actually quite troublesome. They encountered a small mob of town-level monsters which took them a bit to handle.
They arrived in Inko about half a day later, and they were shocked to see they still needed reinforcements. "As expected, they're really hard stubble," they heard some Voumi folks say.
"I heard a few other villages sent hundreds of people too, one sent more than a thousand."
"So much?" "Why didn't we just attack the other villages? Why this one?"
After all, this was a troublesome satellite. It was far easier—and, theoretically, more fruitful—to just take over the weaker villages which also had elementalists.
"You mean other than the fact that our Lord is vindictive and wanted his revenge?"
This was actually the main reason for the questionable decision to target a strong territory. However, there were also plenty of advantages so the proposal still went through.
