"Yes." Su Jiyai nodded with a serious expression and suddenly a portal opened behind the man.
Just as the portal was about to devour the man, Su Jiyai pushed him away and shouted,
"Look out."
Su Jiyai's push barely moved the man, but it was enough to get him out of the way.
The portal sucked in a few items from the street, but the man quickly regained his balance and stumbled away from its pull.
His eyes widened as he looked at the swirling vortex behind him.
"Whoa! You weren't kidding about those unauthorized portals," he muttered, his earlier suspicion replaced by surprise.
Su Jiyai gave him a quick nod, trying to stay calm.
"Told ya. These things are popping up everywhere. That's why Special Agent Rex sent me. It's getting dangerous."
The man turned back to the portal, which was starting to shrink.
"This is... serious." He glanced at Su Jiyai, his tone softer now.
"If you're really on a mission, I need to report this. Unauthorized portals are a big deal around here."
