The after event was catastrophic, destroyed building, broken roads and bodies were everywhere, the air was thick with dust and the strong smell crumbled concrete was everywhere. Minutes after defeating the creatures ambulances, polices, helicopters came to help the civilians. The helicopters hovered in the sky while others searched the buildings for survivors. There were more than seventy deaths, fifty severely injured and eighty with minor injuries, but with each search the numbers kept rising. Everyone who was hardly hurt thanked God they survived pass the worse incident they had ever faced in their lives, while others cried and searched for their love ones. Soon the twelve formed up with each other and observed everyone, they tried their best but looking at the scene before them they weren't satisfied and thought they could have done more. They thought about their children seeing this could have been them if they didn't work with Felix. As they stood there Felix then approached and looked in the same direction as they were. They didn't even notice him since they were lost in their own thoughts and he walked so quietly. Leo then noticed him and walked over to him tapping him on the shoulder, Felix then brushed him off and acknowledge the others and told them they did a good job.
They looked at the people crying, people shouting and looking for anyone who might have gotten caught underneath during the incident. People being loaded into the ambulances and other being zipped in body bags.
"Did we really help", Sasha asked with pity. They looked at her but remained quiet.
"Of course we helped, if it weren't for us maybe everyone would've died", Leo answered as if he wasn't shaken by what just happened. They only looked at him, before anyone could answer they heard a voice.
"Thank you", a young girl waved with a smile, Simon realized it was the girl he saved earlier, and then more and more thanks could be heard. Anyone who had the strength shouted 'Thank you', while for those who couldn't speak lifted a hand into the air and for those who couldn't do anything were surely giving thanks from their thoughts. They stopped what they were doing for a minute to acknowledge the people who saved their lives, tears came running down Oliver's face as he had felt their praise from his heart and Sasha was crying alongside him. Simon then held his hand to the air and made a fist soon after the others did so, one after the other they all did and Felix watched the scene before him with his hands behind his back and could tell the people viewed them as Heroes.
"Let's go", Felix ordered.
They then followed Felix as they held onto one another for support as they walked and boarded the helicopter that was waiting for them. Felix then spoke over a microphone telling the pilot they're ready. Soon the helicopters lifted from the ground taking off, in front there were eight helicopters carrying two large containers possibly the creatures they just defeated. They continued and waited for landing so they could rest properly. About after two and half hours of flying they reached the facility they were staying, they got escorted to a medical room for treatment and Felix carried the creatures somewhere else. In the medical room no one was badly damage except Simon who had burns, the others only had minor injuries and only needed rest, except for Leo who was unharmed. After another hour of treatment they went back to their room to rest their bodies.
Felix carried the creature's deep underground and locked them there. The creatures were both bonded and place into separate clear tanks that contained some type of liquid. Felix took one last look at the creatures before leaving and sealing the doors shut. His underground lab was heavily secured with guards, thick iron doors and multiply extra caution traps that were installed. He went back to the surface and monitored the cameras where he saw everyone resting. The next day arrived and they felt better even Simon's wounds were healed. They were having breakfast when Felix walked in and asked how they were feeling and the all responded that they were fine. Felix then checked on Simon who wasn't wearing any bandages, he looked closely and question why he wasn't wearing any bandage, he thought because of the acid maybe recovering would take some time Simon lifted his shirt and showed that he was healed, they were surprised noticing all the scars were gone too. Felix the hypothesize that because of the new changes that had been added to the human body it could now heal on its own at a extraordinary level. Felix gazed away zoning in the distant coming up with multiple scenarios and hypothesis in his head.
"I wonder how long it would take to recover a limb", he whispered under his breath without knowing. Everyone froze and all eyes were on him, as if he felt their presence he was taken away from his thoughts.
"Why you all staring at me?" Felix asked with his eyebrows knitted together and the look of puzzlement on his face. But they all stayed quiet before someone broke the silence.
"So what did you do with the creature?" Leo asked.
"You need not to know, but I will say that they are fully secured"
While they were eating someone came in delivering a message saying that they were on the news. Felix then touched the watch looking object on his hand and a screen popped up displaying the news as they spoke about the extraordinary individuals who saved many lives.
"Yesterday about 12:35 am the most unusual incident happened as many people died and were injured, some unknown creature appear in a glowing spherical ball and reeked havoc in Layxin City. As it would seem that no one could've helped the people twelve magnificent individuals appeared and saved the day. It would seem that they possess the unknown abilities that started appearing worldwide, they used their abilities so expertly as people wonder if they're working with the government . Even though they held a meeting not so long ago confirming that they had no ownership to such claims as it regards to the twelve people who appeared. Even though this was explained some still questioned if they're telling the truth. To recover the area that was destroyed will cost millions or possibly billions of dollars. The people of Layxin City lost a lot and were still grieving for their love ones. We send our condolences to each and every one of them, we'll keep you updated with what's happening. My name is May-", before the reporter could finish her report Felix closed the news.
The room was quiet as they ate slowly, Felix reassured them that they needed not to worry and he would sort everything out. The days passed and repairs were still being done to the city, if having to deal with the occurrence that happened recently wasn't enough another problem made its way onto the list. The incidence that happened in Layxin city made its way worldwide causing a stir as people were inspired to be heroes and followed in their footsteps. Since the government confirmed that the twelve weren't under their direction people thought that they were self taught and did it as a group with their own accordance. People were now solving problems on their own and using their robotic powers in the name of good and self-desires. For those who had the robotic power used it for selfish gains as they started attempting criminal acts and the other used their abilities to stop them. Things were now spiraling out of control and became unmanageable, within a short time a law was passed. The penalty for breaking the new law would be drastic anyone who was caught using their robotic power will placed into jail and would have to pay a hefty price.
Most people couldn't manage the punishment that they would face if they were caught breaking the law and so they obeyed. Not everyone obeyed as there were still a few who lived with the idea of being a hero and thought they were following the twelve people they saw. Felix skipped pass multiple reports that flooded the internet as he didn't expected things to turn down this lane, he then closed the news, faced everyone and then left without a word. Felix decided that he had to say something to the public without revealing anything, if he was to say that he was a self-organized group others may take up the idea and replicate his doings. He didn't want to give ideas even with the possibility that it had already started and so he had to approach the issue carefully, but he had to leave that for another time since he had a different problem at hand. He continued walking until he reached a dead end, he placed his hand on a specified part on the wall, then looked very closely at the wall as a small window opened scanning his iris. The walls then opened an opening that looked like a door and Felix entered. He traveled for about five minutes before reaching his destination that was more than a hundred floors deep. He steadily walked and eventually reached a large iron door that was heavily barricaded, opening it wasn't easy as it took more than three minutes of scanning. Felix had to scan his body, hair, iris, voice and provide a blood sample, entering this place wouldn't be easy.
