For whatever reason, I was exhausted. I didn't know why, but I wasn't the only one. For the last couple of weeks, all three of us, me, Zachary, and Zayden, had all been so tired. Whatever was happening made us feel like we were running marathons and decathlons every night. No amount of sleep helped us to feel any better. I guess this was just what happened when you became an adult. Life got hard; that's for sure.
Shuffling and moving slowly but still doing our best not to draw attention to ourselves, my brothers and I started to head toward the parking lot. We were going to, as usual, meet up with Zaley and her guards. Our parents were always more strict with her about guards than they were us. Most likely this was due to the fact that men tried to take advantage of women more than tall, strong, strapping young men such as us. Also, being nearly six and a half feet tall with rippling muscles and attitude problems, most people left the three of us alone.
