*~*Talia's POV*~*
After leaving the throne room, Lex and I walked through to the private office behind it. It was a place where we would convene before going out into the throne room with the others. In this space, there was a desk, a few couches, and a large screen. The screen was a mystery to me, given that there wasn't much use for a TV here in the underworld. Not for most people anyway.
The room also needed a makeover, which didn't surprise me. Lex and I worked together to make the room match our styles again, it didn't take long. And all we did was change the colors and aesthetics.
"Better." I said as I turned to face Lex. "Now we can-." But I never finished what I was saying. Something strange happened at that moment.
"What in the world?" I asked as a white bird came flying through the wall. It was beautiful, dainty, and mesmerizing. I was wary of it, yes, but I was still enthralled by it as well.
"What is that?" Lex asked as he watched the bird fly toward me.
