Excitement was running high as the doors to the auditorium were opened. There were people milling about in the lobby, most of them talking amongst themselves as they waited for us. I hadn't realized just how many people were going to be here today, but I guess that it was a good thing that we had gotten this auditorium for the meeting. There were almost a hundred people that had shown up just to hear us speak.
Reagan, Rika, and all the rest of us, including the humans Hector, Sam, Dale, and the new addition of Elias's mate, Haley, were all positioned on stage and looking out at the group as they all took their seats.
I could tell that people were sitting in groups. Friends sat with each other, and even though they might have been talking with and standing close to the others, they were keeping separated in the seats of the larger room. That was fine, it was the way that people were. They kept to their circles for many reasons, one of which was comfort.
