ARSEN'S POV
"We apologize for our incompetence, Your Majesty," one of them started fearfully. "We saw General Kang and Lady Samira. He told us he was just giving her medicine since she wasn't feeling well. When he came out of the room carrying a woman in the same dress and hair color as Samira we thought it was her, not Lady Ayan."
The second pair of guards told me they saw Samira and General Kang enter from another entrance. "We saw Lady Samira with Lady Ayan who had spoilt her dress and they said they were waiting for a servant to help them redress."
It appears the General had planned to confuse the two sets of guards in order to get him and Ayan in the same room.
"I thought my instructions were to keep a close eye on the General!" I yelled at them. "Why didn't you two find it odd when he went outside the tea room roaming around the palace? When the General came out carrying an unconscious person why didn't you check the woman's face to confirm it was Lady Samira?!"
