"Danny, can you help me with this code language? It's so complicated. I heard the teacher praised you because you solved it so fast… so, may I ask you about this one? Sorry if I'm bothering you."
A bit taken aback for a moment, Danny closed his book and looked up at his classmate. She wore a hopeful expression— a girl with short hair hugging her notebook— and when her eyes lit up as Danny finally noticed her, she placed her book on Danny's desk and opened the page in question.
While pointing to the part that confused her, Danny quickly figured out which code she wanted him to explain. After he agreed, the girl pulled over a chair and sat beside him as Danny began explaining slowly. She nodded along, finding his explanation even easier to follow— until someone suddenly kicked the leg of her chair, making her turn around.
"Yvonne, you shouldn't get close to him."
