Shea lingered a moment longer before stepping back, the playful glint returning to her eyes. "Now get going, before Sebastian starts thinking something scandalous."
Allen chuckled, taking his bag and heading for the door. "Pretty sure that ship sailed a long time ago."
Their laughter followed him out into the hallway, and he shook his head softly, smiling as he made his way carefully down the stairs. His legs still complained slightly, but he could manage it.
Outside, sunlight filtered gently through the clouds, washing over him with a pleasant warmth. Sebastian stood waiting patiently by the sleek black car, impeccably dressed as always, offering a polite nod.
"Morning, sir," Sebastian greeted him calmly, opening the car door smoothly. "I trust you're feeling well?"
Allen sighed dramatically, carefully climbing into the comfortable leather seats. "I've been better."
Sebastian smiled subtly, closing the door gently. "Understood."
