The sun was bleeding gold through the trees as Julius stepped past the school gates. The scent of pine mixed with the distant smell of smoke, oddly grounding after everything.
Silleto waited by the edge of the woods, leaning on a tree with her arms crossed. Her amber eyes flicked up as he approached. She was drinking from a strange magical juice container. It looked like black-currant juice.
"I'm here." He announced. "Just like you asked me at lunch."
His mind recalled briefly.
He was eating with Yevian in the dining hall.
"East side of the forest, sunset." Silleto said whilst running by.
Yevian looked confused. "Is she confessing?"
"I think it's going to be a very different type of confession." Julius sighed.
And now he was here, in the sunset hours, by the forest, face to face with Silleto.
"I took care of you for 3 months... You don't talk in your sleep at all," she said casually.
"Yeah? Apparently it was only luck that I'm awake right now."
