Orange light lit up one corner of the forest, making the area seem extremely noticeable to the surrounding Corrupted. They all gathered a few kilometers away from the fire, but none dared to come any closer.
They all appeared to be afraid of something originating from the light source.
At the center of the orange glow was a campfire, a group of six sat around the fire. They all had relaxed expressions on their faces despite monsters lurking in every corner.
Amongst them, a young man wearing a monocle and a three-piece suit that was a little worn out was helping a beautiful woman with glistening white hair that had tints of silver cooking meat.
The roasting smell made his mouth fill with water. He tried to resist the urge and started a conversation to distract himself.
