Chapter 2 - A road I travel

I travel the road of empty labor. I work without goals only to move forward with an emptiness filled Idly by the daily troubles and thoughtless pleasantries. I share my time and workload with others but not my burdens as it's only for me to carry on this road I travel.

"Life is a road with twists and turns much like our ever changing emotions, with many cracks and potholes of the hardships and challenges we face ahead.

Markers of the lost friends and family scattered along the edge with billboards beside of events pasted by or forgotten. Street signs reminding you where you are and maybe where you could go.

roads in life are however shared; sometimes for just a moment at an intersection others for a long stretch on a highway.

The dotted line between lanes represents a chance to change course leave a road traveled or maybe be joined by others following the same path whereas the solid line is a time of rigid and fast days with focus directed only on the road.

Caution signs for all of life's lessons, stop lights for all of life's near calls, and of course the street lamps of advice that lit our way."

"With the road I travel the sun set is ever present as a reminder of the time left to live, love, laugh, and hopefully change lanes for a better course; with blue skies, bright stars, a full heart, a smiling face, and a warm embrace as I drift off to sea.

Roads are just to hard for me."
