"I'm back, Stella."
Soon after he said so, Stella threw herself against his chest. He could feel her body trembling as she hugged him, and then, a moment later, a heavy blow slammed into his cheek after Stella pulled away. She slapped him hard and with tears welling up in the corners of her eyes.
She had never been so upset with him before. For her to be this mad, Rune realized he must have really screwed up this time.
"How long was I out for?"
". . .onth."
Her voice was muffled as she has buried her face in his chest again. Rune couldn't understand what she said.
"What was that?"
"You were asleep for an entire month," Stella replied, this time more clearly."
Rune's expression fell. That wasn't good. He knew it was going to be a while, considering how different the timeflow was in his mindscape. He had spent what felt like a very long time in that space, but with time being slower as it was, he had been hoping that not much of a difference have happened on the outside.
