I flew through the sky and entered my cave where I took a canteen full of water and a couple of fruit that I set in my pouch bag.
When I was about to take a step towards the edge, a tall and well-built man blocked the entrance and the only exit, while looking at me with a frowning face, he then stepped inside with his enormous wing on his back.
" Yeria...I heard you took in a young lady," he said and I just smiled at him with sweat flowing down on my face.
" umm, Amin who is this person? " I hurriedly called out to amin, still smiling at the stranger.
[ohh sorry host, this is Yeria's or your Father he is Caden Adler] Amin said, I thanked her and returned to deal with this giant.
" I...uhhh.....Dad, it was a mistake, no it wasn't a mistake, I helped her when she was about to be eaten by a lizard, you know I don't want nasty blood in our territory....right." I finish with a smile.
" yeah right, you landed in the Lion's territory, lying to your Father is your only option huh," he said while massaging his temples.
" you lunatic, killing a lizard in the Lion's territory is asking for war....ill let you off this time just be careful. " he sighed and patted my hair, I sighed in relief and nodded at his words.
" I'll be stealthy next time, you got my words, Dad. " I said and he was amused when he gave me a smirk.
"Good, you take care of that young lady," he said then jumped where he flew to god knows where.
I finally signed in relief after he left, " I almost got a heart attack. " I thought to myself, well who would not freak out if a giant suddenly entered your room and glared at you with an intensity that if looks can kill I would be dead by now.
" well let's get this over with. " I mumble to myself as I jump and glide towards the cave I left Ayiena.
Entering there I saw her happily chatting with the females, I was slowly walking to the side but unfortunately, Wilan noticed my presence and smiled at the direction that all the females looked at me.
I cough shyly, take out the water canteen and the fruits in my pouch bag, and gently place them all on the ground just near Ayiena.
After Wilan notices my gentle yet absurd interaction, she teases me with her smirking face making me look at her with a pissed smile making her chuckle and whisper words to the woman near her.
" eat up," I instructed as soon as I said that she slowly nimble off the fruit and gave me a grateful smile.
• Lion's Territory •
After parting ways with Merieon, Helian arrives at the Lion's den where his father and other higher-ups gather.
Walking inside, he sat down at his spot while his father looked at him.
" Ahem...Alpha Leon, I have heard that the Prince had taken a female outside the pride, *cough* isn't that....forbidden. " one of the higher-ups whispers to Helian's father who is silently siping rice wine in a coconut shell.
Leon slowly places the coconut shell on a small table in front of him and glace at Helian.
" is that the truth Helian? " he asked in his stern voice and expressionless face.
With confidence, Helian raises his head and makes eye contact with his Father.
" That's right, Father. " Leon just look at him and continue drinking.
" I wanna see that woman who caught your eyes, where is she. " as he said that the entire room went into silence and Helian 's confidence dropped.
" She.... She got captured. " when Helian said that the coconut shell like a missile flew towards him almost missing his head making Helian straighten his back in shock.
" You Can't Even Control A Woman!! What would others say if they heard such a thing? " Leon said fuming in anger.
" Who is the person who abducted that female? " Leon said barely controlling his emotions.
Helian feeling the aura of his father lowers his head. " the person.... is part of the Eagle Clan. "
And that is where Leon shuddered and stood up ran up to Helian and grabbed his son's collar.
" DID YOU IN ANYWAY CHALLENGE THAT PERSON? " Hearing his father Helian was confused and shook his head making Leon breathe heavily.
"What is the color of its wings? " Helian was confused but told otherwise.
"I'm not sure but I think it's Black and brown." hearing it Leon was silent and told her son to get out with a surprisingly calm voice, without hesitation he got out of the den.
One of the higher-ups then walks towards Leon with a worried and anxious expression.
" what are we going to do Alpha? It looks like the Pince have been noticed by one of the Royals of those forsaken Winged Animals. " hearing what the person has said Leon silently thinks to himself after turning around to face the others.
" I'll go make an apology letter for that mutt of a son I have and declare the peace treaty, I don't want to make another war after the damage my father has done years ago. " Leon said but other higher-ups were hesitant.
If the Lions will just now declare the peace treaty that the Eagle Clan has been asking for after years of rejection and just now the Lions agree it will be humiliating.
" Alpha think about it, asking for the peace treaty after we reject the royal advisor who personally entered our territory will ruin our reputation. " when Leon heard that he glared at them for being a coward.
" ruined reputation is much better than having the tribe I promise to protect be destroyed by some ridiculous ego of mine. " Leon said angrily making the others lower their head.
" Call the best messenger of ours to prepare for a long journey, I'll go read the letter to be sent. " Leon said to his advisor where the man bowed.
" Certainly Sire," he said as he left the den.
" the meeting is dismissed you may go. " Leon said to the higher-ups who one by one left the room leaving him.
Alone he sighed defeated by the sudden emotion he was having and all the events that suddenly occurring.
" My wife give me strength...sigh.I wish you were here to lecture that son of ours and keep him away from trouble. " Leon said as he mumbled and mentioned his beloved deceased mate who he cherished with all his heart.
