One day, in Derric's office, he unleashed his frustration on his employees due to their mistakes, which had resulted in a significant financial loss. "You can't do a single thing properly! Is this what I'm paying you for?" he exclaimed, heaving in anger. He threw the file he was reviewing and lashed out, " Now what are you waiting for? Leave before I do something!" The employees apologized for their mistake and ran for their lives. Sapphire, not knowing the mood of Derric, knocked on the door for entrance. Derric glanced at the CCTV and saw it was Sapphire.
He took a deep breath and answered, " Come in." Sapphire came in with a tablet containing Derric's schedule. She greeted warmly, " Good Morning, Sir." Derric nodded slightly, indicating he accepted her greetings. His gaze turned towards the clock, and he knew Sapphire was late today. This was not how Sapphire works. She's always punctual and professional. He asked her, " You're late today, Miss Sapphire." Acknowledging him, Sapphire replied, " I'm sorry, Sir. It was Mr Davis's sudden arrival that led me to be late today." Derric clenched his jaw and mumbled, " That pest!" Sapphire continued, " There's an issue that needs to be handled by you."
Derric was taken aback. There's nothing that Sapphire can't do. She is known for handling complicated tasks like a pro. He composed himself and asked, " What's the matter?" Sapphire paused for a moment and said, " Mr Davis is requesting a meeting with you. I have already delayed him by two hours now." Derric pinched between his eyebrows and nodded, indicating he agreed to the meeting. Sapphire quickly got to work and read Derric's schedule. Seeing his frustration, Sapphire brought coffee for him. " Sir, please have this coffee, and the meeting with Mr Davis is scheduled for 11 am." Derric nodded and went back to reviewing his files.
Soon, time passed, and it was 11 am. Sapphire reminded Derric of his meeting with Mr Davis. Derric moved away from his files, glanced at the clock, and nodded. Both were ready for the meeting. Sapphire led Derric to the meeting room, where Mr Davis was already present. Mr Davis was the ex director of DS Group. Derric didn't like him much as he knew about his dirty work ethics. Mr. Davis is known for his womanizing behavior and frequently changes girls like clothes. The complaints from female employees about his behavior led him to be fired from the company.
Mr Davis stood up to greet Derric with his stained teeth. " Good Morning, Boss." Derric ignored him and sat on his chair with Sapphire standing beside him. Seeing her stand, Derric gestured her to sit beside him. Sapphire sat beside him and asked Mr Davis to state his proposal. " Mr Davis, Sir wants to know about your proposal first." Mr Davis, who was smitten by Sapphire's beauty, was gazing at her with lust. Sapphire, being uncomfortable, shifted a little, and Mr Davis started explaining his plan. Derric's eyes turned red, indicating his anger as he witnessed the way Mr Davis was looking at Sapphire. The proposal wasn't up to his expectations, and he stood up in between the proposal. He coldly said, " Even an intern can give a better proposal than this. You can leave."
Saying those words, Derric was about to leave when Mr Davis interrupted him.. " I know you need my raw materials for the upcoming project. I have a win-win proposal for us." Derric turned and raised his eyebrows. Mr Davis pointed at Sapphire and said lustfully, " Give me this chickand..." Before he could complete his sentence, a punch was landed on him by Derric. " How dare you! B*st*rd!" He punched Mr Davis till he was black and blue. He ordered the guards to drag Mr Davis away from there. Sapphire was frozen on her spot and only reacted when Mr Davis was taken away. Derric, seeing her, he soften his eyes, pulled her with him to his office.
