From the corner of her eyes, Ayana could see several people walking toward them. She looked at Luca and the man had already looked in the direction of those people. Ayana blinked several times when a hint of coldness passed Luca's eyes. Although it was gone when the people were close enough.
"It's been a while, general," Mr. Baynes greeted Luca and sat on one of the chairs at the table. Luca and Ayana only smiled as they greet the guest arrival
Ayana eyed Skylar Baynes for a second when the girl casually sat beside Luca and her sister Clara sat on her left after skipping a chair.
Ayana got her answer as the Winter family appeared and Benedict casually took a seat beside Skylar.
Ayana felt her eyes twitch when she saw how close Ben and Skylar were. They look like a couple. She wondered if they have feelings for each other or if their relationship was purely friendship or even sibling relationship considering they have been close to each other since they were kids.
