The audio and video files were sent. As the Immortal in his office worked his clock anxiously waiting for the news. A ping arrived in his implant. It was a video file.
A video of around thirty minutes containing feed. Of the palace and an archangel and most importantly the body of the Elder God.
As soon as he saw that he contacted Phoenix and ordered him to lead the charge. There was going to be a great battle.
No a mass slaughter on the island today.
Phoenix was ready to lead the charge just waiting on the shore. With the navy full of water and ice magicians.
As well as many troops in power armors.
The battleships begun their siege.
Phoenix :
Today is a day we have been waiting for centuries. The liberation of the island. For years there have been the unfortunate suffering from tyranny because we couldn't do anything. Not anymore.
You soldiers have been briefed on your one and only mission save as many lives as you can.
Today we will take back what belongs to us. For the Foundation.

The soldiers roared with fury built over the years laughing in their face as they finally sail forward at full speed. Despite the currents and all odds.
And the force was led by Phoenix Cleft. In absence of Ikaros.
Phoenix faced forward as he had finally realized one of his dreams. To free his own trapped on the island.
Long ago when fighting the God's. Phoenix's relatives were gravely injured in battle and had to take refuge and wait for reinforcement.
They hud themselves somewhere deep within the forest. With all their equipment worn down and rendered unusable.
And all their food consumed and needed to be resupplied.
That time their squad was ambushed by a local bandit group. His relatives fought as hard as they could have.
But they were forced to drop their weapons as the bandits took one of their own hostage and held a knife against their neck forcing the other to surrender.
And they were captured. In total that day 16 of his relatives were captured.
Where they were enslaved and sent off to the slave island.
Their whereabouts are currently unknown but if they're on the island. Phoenix would tear the entire island down just to find their remains.
But Phoenix held his breath and hope with him. Because Jay who h thought had betrayed him. Had finally done it.
Deep down even Cleft had realized that Jay was correct it was an suicidal mission and remembered the exact order of words Jay spoke. Phoenix was blinded by his choice of inaction that he was forced to take it upon himself.
Phoenix stood in the command center of the ship watching the waves crash on the ship. Suddenly a soldier spoke monitoring the radar.
Soldeir :
Sir! We have detected a major mana spike ahead it looks like someone is spending huge amounts of mana.
Phoenix :
Can you determine what is causing the mana spike.
Soldier :
I have processed an image 5 kilometers away. I have upscale the image. It seems that two beings are fighting with each other. One looks like an winged person and other is someone who is flying by hovering with fire magic.
When Phoenix heard this he could only think of one person he looked at the upscale image and it was indeed Jay and it seems that he was fighting an archangel.
Phoenix :
Whatever happens we must rescue that man. And engage with the Archangel. Prepare defensive measures against the being. Prepare anti Divinity measures.
For taking down a being of the highest Heavenly order normal weapons are not enough. They would be if they are in the hands of the Immortal or a God or a Regional God . But for humans they can't do anything. So how does one defeated an archangel?.
Without contacting the devil and demons and giving them the life force. Or your entire life span just to get rid of one of them.
Well they atleast theorize that there are demons but they haven't managed to summon one yet.
Answer is you need legendary or celestial grade weapons summoned from various mythologies or have a story attached to them about how they were made.
What distinguish even a normal grade weapon can become a myth grade if the specific story is attached. Like Picasso's painting. Which increases its overall value.
And grants it additional attributes.
And there was one legendary grade weapon nearby.
The Bow of Matra. A celestial bow created using part of the broken bow of Sita that Lord Ram broke and part of Artemis' 's silver bow. By combining these two mythologies a new weapon was born.
The question is where did they get the weapons from the mythology. A question for later.
Thus holding the Bow of Matra Phoenix summoned an arrow of blue fire and pulled the string back just enough to make the shot.
Using his implants it was easier for him to calculate the distance and the wind speed and the trajectory of the arrow as well as the projected trajectory of the target before releasing the arrow.
And Phoenix shot the arrow and it travelled the distance before it hit it was perceived by the archangel. Who used its wing to shield itself. And the arrow collided with the wings and there was an explosion which threw Jay away.
Jay :
Tch how many times does this make.
Phoenix : connected to Ai glasses.
Maybe a dozen time. How'd you end up fighting an archangel.
Jay :
The usual.
The archangels wings were set on fire. Burning away it's feathers. It flapped it's wings but the fires weren't going out. So it ripped out it's own wing. And a new wing grew.
Phoenix tried to fly like Jay and he was successful in flight but in his excitement his balance got awry and hit his head on the deck.
While Jay sustained his flight. His body was turned into a river where like a big lake mana would enter his body through a small stream carrying water with it like a river to the sea.
It would collect in the gut where it would be streamed to his legs and at tip they would change their form and become a jet engine. Firing fire magic and flying through continuous recoil. And laws of force.
Remember speed never killed anyone. Sudden deceleration did.
Angel :
Who has interrupted the divine battle between Holy and Evil.
(looks at Phoenix)
It's you ants again. Have you forgotten your ethics as a warrior now.
Phoenix :
Maybe?
Everything is fair in love and war.
Jay :
And this is world war 3.
Jay blasted the archangel with his own brand of fire magic.
Concentrating his flames in one direction instead of a bug radius. Allowing to do more damage to one spot than overall.
The angel prepared a laser blast but it was once again interfered by a rapidly approaching Phoenix.
And Jay used metal magic to drop a large pillar of metal on the angel drowning it in water.
Jay removed his phone to check if he had something g usable on him.
Zero legendary weapons the ones obtained from the Tower were fictional. High grade elemental stone.
He did get rhe credit to make a new sword but he got it done.
So steel swords it is fitted with elemental stones.
Hay also had a watch containing poison and paralytic needles but he was worried about their effectiveness on a divine being.
Jay :
Should I return to the dock.
Phoenix :
Stay where you are can't afford the ship going down with you. I'll provide you support.
Jay :
Any idea on how to deal with this thing.
Phoenix :
Can you introduce some impurities into the angel.
Jay :
Huh?
Phoenix :
Angels are considered the purest of beings. Thus to remain divine they have to be pure. The more impure they'll be the more they'll be losing their divinity.
Jay :
So divinity = purity? . So if I poison it wouldn't it just expel the poison.
Phoenix :
That's the catch if the angel's body doesn't consider it to be poison it won't be expelled .
Jay :
Or I have an even better idea.
Phoenix :
Binding is just temporary angel can change their forms as well.
Jay :
Can your weapon kill the angel.
Phoenix :
Do you know how to use a bow.
The archangel rose from the water. With its wings drenched and hair wet.
Jay :
I have a better idea. Can you trust me.
Phoenix :
Yes I do.
Archangel :
In the deepest of waters where life stems from. I tried to feel your pain and the words you spoke. But my answer still remains the same.
Jay :
You want to kill me. Come and get me.
Jay used his full power to fly off into the distance with the angel once again tailing him. To throw him off Jay changed his flight patterns for a while.
Going to the surface of the water, in and out of the waters.
Climbing the sky while only moving towards the edge of the world.
The edge of the world consuming the world slowly. Just a distance of 3 kilometers away from the island. This is how much their pursuit took too long.
The world's oceans once wrapped around the world like the earth joining the east and the west coast. But not there was only a wall.
A dark wall of nothingness rapidly draining the world's ocean. When something goes nothing returns.
And Jay crept closer and closer to the wall. As the wall itself moved forward little by little. The wall itself was close to a fod which Co sumed everything.
And just at the edge Jay stood as the angel pursued it.
Angel :
You can go no further. Human. May your end bring you a new beginning.
Saying the words the angel once again engaged with Jay. And Jay was standing at the edge. If he touched the fog his body would disintegrate and return to the abyss.
Though the abyss is a big pit. Consider this also a big pit by sideways and growing.
Jay threw a chain which the angel deflected lightly and it extended wrapping its wings and binding it tightly. Not just once but many times.
Then the chains heat up until it burned the wings causing the angel to fall. The angel shattered its chains. By changing its size to a ant then once again to its bird human form.
With new wings growing.
But this moment was not wasted even if the divine being did not lose any hp. A very slight and significant move was done here.
For the final time the angel rose from the waters as he had gained a new rebirth.
Angel :
I request you to accept your death. I want the best for you to find salvation within the arms of our Lord. For I speak to the good in you.
Resisting will bring only more pain and suffering. I want you to be free from the worldly desires and cleanse your soul from the grime of the world.
The angel offered Jay a chance at salvation. But Jay offered the angel a question.
Jay :
Are you a proud angel.
Angel :
My whole existance's pride and joy Is my Lord.
Jay :
They say pride comes before a fall.
Saying this Jay headcharged into the Angel closing distance with a sword in his hand.
The angel created a sword made of light.
While Jay was making it look like he was going to punch the archangel.
And just before he landed the punch his hand opened revealing a bunch of high grade fire stones mixed with high grade wind stone and as Jay's mana passed through it they detonated. Causing a huge burst of energy and causing a massive recoil to both parties. The angel could withstand the force of an Inter continental ballistic missile without shedding any hair.
Such flimsy explosion was not going to work. That's why within the explosion Jay controlled the flow and pushed him by all his might still he didn't budge. So Jay stabbed the angel with a metal rod containing a paralytic.
And finally the paralytic worked causing it to momentarily lose control. But still it held Jay and Jay pulled out his last surprise. A mana bomb.
In a last ditch effort he triggered the mana bomb causing the mana to evaporate from both their bodies. And both fell down. And Jay pushed the archangel into the abyss.
As he went inside the fog nothing came out. It's like his existance was silently wiped. Without any hush or sound.
Even there wasn't a scream. Just silence and sound of the water waves.
Jay wanted to know how much strong he really was. And he got the answer. He killed the regional God only by sheer luck. He witnessed an archangel who wasn't even trying hard. But it required Jay to use all the trick in his books.
If this is the strength of an archangel then how was the Foundation abke to survive this long. While maintaining its autonomy becoming more advanced and rich in resources.
And become a threat to God's who stand above angels.
Jay had these question pouring in his mind as he fell from a great height. Barely before the fog influence. As he fell mana started entering his body and before he touched the water he was able to get his flight back.
And flew away back to Phoenix who was waiting for him.
