They all stood there, and despite never having actually met them, I knew who they were. I especially knew Laila, as she was quite unstable from what I had heard. It was even more imperative that I knew her, as I was the only one left that was able to contain her outbursts.
It was a strange phenomenon, she had been born with a condition, having split personalities. It was not the usual though, as everyone apart from what would have been considered her 'actual' self was extremely violent.
It was so bad that they had to put a spell on her, though even that was not enough. It worked based on will power, as her personalities would change based on the state of mind of each. Thus, the person imposing the spell upon her, was substituting their will for hers, to trump the other egos.
