After hearing her out, he was fallen into a pit of deep thought. His mind was in a state of mess. He can't even focus on what Melian was talking. She was keep on ranting about some stuffs about Kris unlike a moment ago where she was sullen.
Oryn can see the enthusiasm in her sparkling eyes.
'She really like him for sure. I once saw the same spark in her eyes once. But why did you forgot about me and our promise. If not for the fact, we have to hide my identity, You would have already been my Fiancée' He was thinking while looking deep into her eyes. But he forgot to notice that she was also staring at him with her eyebrows risen in anger. The only thing that is missing was a fuming effect.
The one thing that Melian hate in Oryn was he will lost himself sometimes when they are having a talk.
They have known each other and been each others friend from the middle school, in short from the age of 9. It's a 10 years of friendship which Melian values a lot since she can't be friends with anyone else as comfortable as she is with Oryn. Many has regarded them as lovers. She doesn't know why he gave her a sense of security. But it's always been like this. She would keep on talking and He would have lost on his own mind.
"Are you listening to me?", She shook him hardly.
"What?", asked as he came to his own sense.
"I knew it. See you are not listening to me", she is now sulking.
"Not like that", he tried to deny it because he knows what is there for him if she gets angry.
"Then tell me What I just said to you?", in a bossy tone.
"See you are not listening.", in a playful tone.
"ahh... what the hell is that?", She asked as she was frowning on what he is trying to say.
"That is what you said just now", Oryn tried to put a laughter by lifting her lips. "Isn't I right"
Melian fumes with anger, "You are ....Just Forget it. Everything is just a joke to you."
"Not really, At least things related to you are not joke to me", He said as he was leaning back with his hands as his support.
"What did you say?", She was even more confused now.
"Hmm. after all these are the only guilty pleasure I have. Making you cry" He Gently patted her head and pinched her cheeks.
"I know it. You had never taken my words seriously. And don't pat my head. I'm not a kid anymore", as she snapped his hand away from her.
"Who was the one just asked for help". He again tried to touch her but she snapped again.
"I said forget it. Anyhow you are not going to help me as you always wanted a incident to mock me.This time to I will give you the chance to mock me." she said in an disappointed tone and showed a false anger. She knows how to convince him to help her always.
"Not really. I will help you. But if I failed don't blame me", At last Oryn surrendered.
"wow. you are the best, Oryn", She said and jumped into his hands. and gently kissed him in cheeks. This is the first time she ever hugged him. He tried so hard to not show him blushing
