Plumes of black smoke suddenly appeared in the conceptual space where Layton's soul architecture was located, it seemed to originate from several planes that were conceptually connected to Layton, the planes where his path had been applied. it seeped in slowly at first, then rapidly expanded, spreading like ink in water, forming a vast sea of black smoke with the obvious aura of death.
Just looking at it one could sense the obvious numerous laws of death embedded in the misty substance, it emitted a special fluctuation, a call that drew in souls, promising them peace, promising them a journey that attracted souls, promising to ferry them to a better life, a better afterlife.
