Several classmates held leafy greens in their hands, and in front of each of them stood a Sika Deer, munching away on the leaves with relish, showing not the slightest fear of humans.
Ruanruan walked in with a small basket, and a little Sika Deer that had been eating vegetable leaves suddenly started hopping over to her, its dewy eyes wide and its head tilting curiously as it gazed at her.
Ruanruan crouched down and reached out her hand, softly calling for the little one to come over.
The little guy seemed to get shy, quickly hid behind a larger Sika Deer nearby, and timidly peeked out its little head to stealthily watch Ruanruan.
Ruanruan was captivated by its adorable behavior, and hurriedly called out a couple more times.
"Little one, come here."
The larger Sika Deer nudged its head on its son, then paced over with its long legs, the little Sika Deer following behind its mother, tentatively trying to step closer to Ruanruan, its ears trembling with each step.
