"Shai,"
She flinched moving to her side feeling a comfortable warmth surrounding her, Shai moved to where she heard the voice, it was so familiar to her that it had been so long since she heard it, and she didn't know who it is.
"Shai, I know you can do it."
The voices muffled. Shai tried to open her eyes, but they were so heavy. She tried to sit up hearing the voice again,
"You are always my world, my daughter,"
Shai opened her eyes, sat up, turning to her side, she couldn't see her vision was blurry, Shai reached out for the chair next to her bed and could make out someone sitting there,
"Dad?"
Shai touched their knees, laying her weight on them. She tried to sit up, then a hand lay on hers, Shai looked into their blue eyes filled with concern. He helped Shai sit up, steading her
"Shai? You not shivering or shaking, how are you feeling"
Shai looked up at him dazed, moved her hands, and rubbed her eyes, she heard him move closer to her placing his hand on hers, Shai moved her hands to her lap staring into an endless blue abyss,
"Eurus?"
Shai glanced around the room and recognized that it's her room, Shai felt him grab her chin, moving her gaze to him,
"Why am i here?"
Eurus was taken back by her, and she didn't remember what had happened.
"You're in the guest room, your room,"
"I know that, but why am i here? How did i get here?"
"I had to carry you here,"
She tried to remember what happened, but she could recall stepping out of the portal talking with the figures, but it's all she could recall, Shai didn't notice Eurus confused gaze on her thinking,
"She must have been so drain after talking with them,"
How much she shivered while talking with him or when she fell and he had to catch her, Shai need to rest before she can help them, before they can help them, Eurus lean closer to her staring into her gaze, shes still in a daze.
"Shai, do you remember anything from last night?"
Shai looked at Eurus, tried, and she felt the weight of her body on her. It's like she's still asleep. Shai leaned back, still recalling the portal, but nothing else.
"I can only remember talking with the figure and you, I can't remember the rest,"
Eurus could hear how tired she was. He should let her rest a bit more,
"Do you want more sleep?"
Shai heard Eurus, but she thought about what she woke up to,
"That was his voice."
She could see her fathers sitting on a chair smiling talking to her about the resent news, laughing at the joke they would tell, when they went throught her mother death they had each other to hold onto, sobbing into their shoulders, remembering it all.
"Shai?"
She had her hand held into a larger and warmer ones, Shai stared at Eurus no longer in a daze,
"Yeah? Did you say something?"
"I asked if you needed more sleep?"
"No, im good,"
She's quick to answer. Eurus watched her move to the edge of the bed staring at her legs, Eurus couldn't help but feel worried.
"Shai, you shouldn't get up,"
Shai stood weakly, her legs trembled at the weight she put on them, Shai wobbled, staring at her legs confused,
"What happened to me to be this weak,"
"You fainted in my arms,"
Shai gaze went to him, Eurus stands infront of her staring into her brown hues, he placed his hands on her arms, his gaze softened when he felt her put weight on him, confused Shai let out,
"I fainted?"
"You were fine at first when you started to shiver and gotten so weak that you could have fallen,"
The aches in her body made her groan leaning her head in his chest, Eurus held her and said,
"It's from taking with the deities?"
"It could be from the stress,"
Shai said, lifting her head and staring at him, Eurus thought of it before, but seeing her like this almost made it clear,
"That could be it. I want to ask Claire?"
"Yeah,"
Eurus helped her sit back on her bed. She held onto him so much her nail started to dig into skin, Eurus held in a hiss and yelled out,
"Claire!"
They heard a knock on the door, and Claire came in opening the door. She looked at them and saw that Shai's awake, holding onto Eurus tightly,
"What is it little Eurus?"
"Could you scan her?"
"Of course,"
Claire walked to the moving Eurus away from Shai, Claire's eyes glowed, scanning over Shai, and she's stressed, muscles tensed, and hearing breathing is quick. But she's compensated for it, Claire scaned to her hip.
"It's still there?"
Claire's continued to scan her, a glow came from her hip dipping down her body, Claire gaze went to it and witnessed it growing up to her head, Claire eyes widden staring at Shai glowing. It's happened before, but when the weapon made itself evident, it's a different glow. It's white.
"This is quite odd,"
Claire let out, and Eurus turned to her concerned,
"Claire, did you see something?"
"I have Eurus come here,"
Eurus stood up when Shai grabbed onto his arm, Eurus looked at her. She stared at him anxious,
"I want to see what is happening to me," Shai said
Eurus glanced at Claire, and she stared at Shai cautiously,
"I don't want to stress you more, Shai,"
"Claire, i want to know,"
Claire looked to Eurus. He wasn't staring at her, but at Shai, he looked for hesitance, there is none, She's determined to know,
"Claire, tell us what's wrong," Eurus asked
Claire held her hand and showed the scan she did, Shai let go of him staring at it conflicted. It was unorthodox. For her, it's her life, a glow that surrounded her, a bright white.
"This is what i saw,"
Claire pointed at Shai's hip where it would appear. The following was where she had wittnesed it grow, Claire stopped in Shai's eyes, staring at each other. Claire moved her hand away, pointing to her feet.
"It went to yours hips and spread to your feet and head," Claire told her
Eurus looked over the scaned image, it moved showing how it acted with out them seeing, he watched it grow around her with it curling around her chest, making her look to be in a pants suit, it made a heavenly glow to her, he feels a lightness on his chest staring at it. It mustn't be bad. Right? Eurus stayed like that while Shai frustrated muttered under her breath,
"I had to deal with the woman, then made a deal with the deities now something else has to happen, why dose this sound like a drained protagonist?"
Shai stared at her body discouraged. This I'd not what she wanted, she glared at her side but didn't expect the weapon to be there, it shined as it always had, but maybe there is a reason she isn't home yet. Claire observed Shai in her conflict.
"She has been thought an old trial that some say of them as myths,"
Claire thought, bending down to meet Shai's gaze, Claire saw her gaze shaken. Claire hummed, catching her attention,
"Claire, why are you bending down?"
"Because I see what is truly on your mind,"
"On my mind?"
"Your eyes tell your emotions, Shai. You're disheartened,"
Shai understood, she was disheartened. Having to deal with this is not for anyone but what choice dose she has when her goal is still ahead, going back to her world, back home. Shai sat up, looking away from Claire's caring gaze to the scan,
"What could it be now,"
It played like a video, the white glow cruled around her almost cradling her, Shai noticed her hip it move the most, curling where the wepon is,
"Shai?"
Shai looked at Eurus. He walked around the hologram to her, and Eurus composed and asked her,
"It came from your hip?"
"That's what Claire saw, yeah,"
"The weapon is on your hip now?"
"It should be, "
They looked at her hips, and the weapon wasn't there. Shai confused glared at her hip,
"It was just there. Why would it disappear like that?"
Shai slowly turned away from it, staring at Eurus. He waited for her response, looking at her tenderly. It made her feel off, but she told him,
"It was there on my hip... i dont know why it would disappear like that,"
Eurus nods, taking a moment of thought,
"It has a mind of its own, but when things like this happen, it stocks by her side. It might have been twice, but it has a record,"
He felt a push on his arm and saw Claire that pushed his. She stared at him concerned, and it worried him,
"Claire, what is it?"
"You didn't hear me and Shai?"
"No, i was thinking,"
"Your aunt is calling you. It seems to be urgent,"
"How bad?"
"It's about the resent news from the Senate. You should call her back,"
