Luo Xiyun realized what had happened when she saw the brand-new Maybach parked in front of the building. She asked, "Did your patent licensing deal go through?"
"Yep." Chen Xu said with a smile, pulling open the car door.
It was something Luo Xiyun had expected, but she was a bit surprised and questioned, "Why haven't I seen any news about it?"
"I prefer to keep things low-profile," Chen Xu answered.
They got into the car, and Luo Xiyun, looking at his clothes, commented, "That's not very obvious from the way you dress."
After Secretary Jin closed the car door, she took the front passenger seat.
The car started to move slowly.
"So, are you thinking about returning home in glory?" Luo Xiyun posed.
"All I want is to buy my parents a nicer house. However, they're used to being frugal, and I'm worried they won't listen to me. You help persuade them; they're more willing to listen to you," Chen Xu expressed his concern.
