"Squeak."
Early in the morning, just as day broke, Ling Mo had already packed his backpack and was preparing to leave as he opened the door.
Passing through the living room, he and Ye Lian and the two other girls didn't make a sound.
Last night, helping these survivors to clear out a residence, as well as giving Bai Yu and Zhang Jie the map to the survival base, Ling Mo felt he had done enough.
A night had passed, it was time for them to leave.
But just as Ling Mo gently opened the security door, the little girl sleeping on the sofa nearby opened her eyes.
She stared with big eyes at the backs of Ling Mo and his group, then quietly climbed down from the sofa.
"Let's go."
Ling Mo whispered.
Ye Lian and the two girls immediately squeezed out through the crack of the door, just as Ling Mo was about to follow them out, he suddenly felt a small body launch itself onto him, hugging his left leg.
