Life as the first SS-Class Esper

Coffaero
Ryuuko Maine Vargas, a mother of twins, suddenly got sucked into a portal which appeared inside of her home— a SS-rank portal. She had no chance of fighting off the monsters inside the portal with her twins cowering behind her. She's just a normal civilian who tries to make a living and takes care of her little family. How can she protect her little ones inside of the first SS-rank portal in history? "Mommy, are we going to be okay?" "Of course, darling. Why wouldn't we be? Mommy's here." "Mom.. We're going to die, aren't we?" "No, sweetheart, we will get out of here, and once we do, I'll cook chicken adobo to celebrate, okay? How does that sound?" With no hope of surviving the rift, she embraced her twins tightly and assured them that they will have their favorite meal once they are out— whispering white lies to make the children stop crying. That is, until she felt a wave of energy bursting inside of her. Being the first SS-class Esper has its ups and downs, but the money she earns every time she clears out those high-ranking rifts has made her twins' lives easier. Despite all the good things, she still suffers the side effects of using her abilities and both the government and guilds had no choice, but to accommodate her needs since she refuses to be on anyone's side. Lending her five high-ranking Guides to ease her from the accumulated corruption, the world survived the first SS-rank’s from going rampant. Was it easy to have five guides fussing over her? No, especially when she can't get along with them. She has two ladies who use their beauty to get their way and three gentlemen who use their money to get whatever they want, things, status, structures, professionals— anything. Her ranking as the world's first SS-class Esper with unheard abilities have made her a threat to guilds worldwide, however, they can't really do much about it because one look is all it takes to send a star down their house. Besides, no one is willing to anger a loving mother. BEWARE: This story tips over the line of r18, but no smut will be written— probably.. If you're not a fan of girls love or boys love then I suggest clicking away. This is me making another attempt at writing romance. Bear with me, please.

Bleach: Watch Closely, This Is How You Use a Zanpakutō

In the Central 46 Compound, the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 and the notorious scourge of the Female Shinigami Association, Masatsuki Aozaki, stood before the Sages and Judges. “You have improper relationships with numerous members, Seated Officers, and Captains of the Seireitei?” “As Captain-Commander, maintaining close relationships with them helps facilitate my work.” “...” The Judge narrowed his eyes. “Then how do you explain modifying the female Shinigami's Shihakushō into miniskirts?” “To transform the Seireitei into a perfect paradise.” “Tsk tsk… A paradise for all Shinigami? That’s not entirely unreasonable…” “No, a personal paradise.” “A private—wait! Captain-Commander Masatsuki, that kind of thinking is clearly wrong!” “Do you want to die?” “...” “Forget it, Captain-Commander Masatsuki. We’ll set this matter aside for now. Let’s discuss some of the outrageous statements you’ve made in the past. Those were jokes, right?” “No, I was completely serious.” Masatsuki calmly ran his hand along the hilt of his Zanpakutō and spoke with conviction. “I have a great relationship with my subordinates, I get along well with Hueco Mundo, and I’m even friends with all of your wives and girlfriends. But rest assured, I’m a good Shinigami. You can safely leave the world in my hands!” Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto: That damn brat! Shunsui, Jūshirō, don’t stop me—I need to teach him a lesson! Thus begins the tale of the most incorrigible Shinigami!

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.
